Dear Parents and Guardians,
In recent editions of Your Wapato Schools, I’ve shared that we have a unique opportunity to rethink how we serve our students and families. One idea being considered is changing how we organize our elementary schools—so that all students in the same grade would attend the same school.
I’ve started meeting with principals, teachers, and counselors about this possibility, and I will also be meeting with other district staff. But just as important as hearing from our educators is hearing from you—our families.
That’s why I’m inviting parents and guardians from Camas, Satus, Adams, Simcoe, and our WELCOME preschool to be part of this conversation.

We will meet on Thursday, May 1, 2025, from 4:30 to 6:00 PM in the District Boardroom at 212 W. 2nd Street, Wapato.

En ediciones recientes de Sus Escuelas de Wapato, he compartido que tenemos una oportunidad única para repensar cómo servimos a nuestros estudiantes y familias.
